UNLV receiver Phillip Payne continued his solid play of late, catching seven passes for 60 yards and a score in the loss to Boise State.
UNLV threw for less than 140 yards, so Payne's output was proportionately pretty good. He's a very talented receiver who is being handicapped by a quarterback situation that's less than productive week-to-week.
