Temple running back Matt Brown ran 24 times for 119 yards and a touchdown against Miami (OH.)
When you consider the RedHawks rush defense ranks 75th nationally, and Brown had previously topped 100 yards while sharing carries with injured starter Bernard Pierce (DNP, concussion,) it can't be considered an overwhelmingly successful evening. Brown will remain one of the nation's top handcuffs, and would be a fair option against Army should Pierce remain out.
