Dietz runs it well, but passing is abysmal

Air Force quarterback Connor Dietz had to step in for starter Tim Jefferson early in Saturday's game against Wyoming. Jefferson suffered a concussion-like injury, which thrust Dietz into the game, where he rushed for 85 yards on 18 carries. Unfortunately, he was horrible passing, connecting on 2-of-5 for -1 yards.

Obviously, Air Force was very one-dimensional in this one, which made it easier for Wyoming's defense to adjust as the contest wore on. Dietz is the likely starter for 2012, so it was interesting to see him work as the starter. He can run it, he needs to be able to pass it better, though.
