Wyoming running back Alvester Alexander is taking a leadership role with the running backs and, given the chance to get more totes, is responding. Alexander, who has led the team in rushing the last two years, was sharing time until Ghaali Muhammad was lost for the season in early November.

Alexander responded to a bigger workload with 83 yards on 15 carries in the win over Air Force. Look for Alexander to get about 15 touches a game as the Pokes still use multiple backs for depth.
