Boise backup running back D.J. Harper appears set to play this weekend against San Diego State. Harper was forced to leave in the closing minutes of Boise State's loss to TCU last week with an injury.
Even with Doug Martin back as well, it's hard to know how much work Martin will be able to handle. Harper could see a significant role this week in a split-carries type of situation to help get both backs through the game healthy.
