With Randall Mackey suspended and Zack Stoudt ineffective against LSU, Ole Miss turned to Barry Brunetti who provided a bit of a spark. Brunetti finished the game with 30 passing yards and 74 rushing yards.
Brunetti is the future of the program so maybe it was good that he was baptized by fire against the Tigers.
