Without head coach Gary Pinkel on the sidelines, quarterback James Franklin took matters into his own hands. Franklin threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 152 yards and two more scores in a win over Texas Tech.
With the win, the Tigers become bowl eligible and Franklin grows that much more as a quarterback in what is only his sophomore season.
