Florida International quarterback Jake Medlock injured his shoulder against Louisiana-Monroe which led to Wesley Carroll taking over the rest of the game.
Medlock is clearly the future of the program as the coaching staff has started to phase him in over Carroll but it is not known what his status is for the Golden Panther's game against Middle Tennessee.
