North Carolina running back Giovani Bernard (concussion) was cleared for contact by team doctors, and returned to practice Tuesday.
He's even further ahead of my "best guess" timeline, so there is little doubt that Bernard will play against Duke Saturday. How many carries he gets is definitely questionable, but I'd start him as a lower end RB2 this weekend.
