Boise State backup running back D.J. Harper was in uniform last week, but would have been used only in an emergency. Harper suffered an ankle injury two weeks ago and has been slow to recover.
It looks like the rest has been effective and that Harper is doing a bit of practicing for the Broncos. He's expected back soon to partner with starter Doug Martin in the BSU backfield.
