Western Michigan quarterback Alex Carder is dealing with a right (throwing) shoulder injury and his status for this afternoon's game against Akron is in question. "(Carder) looked good throwing it," coach Bill Cubit said after practice on Tuesday "We’ll see how it goes."
The Broncos need a victory to stay in the bowl hunt. You have to imagine Carder will play if he's able to, but he's an injury risk for fantasy owners. Tyler VanTubbergen will play if Carder can't go.
