Utah running back Tauni Vakapuna stepped in for an injured John White to lead the Utes in rushing Friday, collecting 77 yards on 14 carries and one touchdown.

Vakapuna hasn't been heard from much once White put a stranglehold on the running back position. If nothing else, he demonstrated that the Utes have some viable backup options outside of White.
