Wyoming quarterback Brett Smith was accurate against Boise State, but really didn't produce a lot with it. Smith hit on 17-of-25 passes for a measly 78 yards. He had a very late TD throw and was picked once.

Looking at Smith's outing honestly, he's simply a true freshman who learned a very good lesson about playing with big dog of the conference. On the one hand, his accuracy in the face of a pretty good defense was nice to see, but he definitely was afraid to go downfield in this one. He'll keep getting better.
