D.J. Adams leaves Terps

Maryland running back D.J. Adams has been granted his release by the school, and will transfer.

This hardly comes as a surprise, as Adams spent most of the season in head coach Randy Edsall's doghouse.  Adams has already redshirted, so he'll have just one season of eligibility remaining should he transfer to a FBS program.  With Davin Meggett graduating, and Adams out of the picture, sophomore-to-be Justus Pickett is rapidly ascending to the top of the Terps' backfield.
