A report on ESPN says that Arizona State has pulled its offer to SMU coach June Jones. The deal was all but done earlier today, with only minor points to be determined -- it was thought. Jones' representation apparently got a call late Wednesday from ASU telling them the offer to Jones had been pulled.
Apparently, the timeline to get Jones inked as ASU's new head coach took too long. Now the Sun Devils will apparently continue their coaching search.
