Temple running back Bernard Pierce ran 25 times for 100 yards and two touchdowns in the New Mexico Bowl against Wyoming.
Probably not the huge numbers many had hoped for while knowing the Owls were taking a rush defense that ranked 115th nationally. It won't lose you your bowl challenge, but it probably won't win it for you either. It may have been Pierce's last game in a Temple uniform, as the junior will likely declare for the NFL draft in the near future.
