It is not clear at this time if Illinois running back Jason Ford will be able to participate in the team's bowl game against UCLA due to academics. To further muddy the situation, fullback Jay Prosch is hospitalized with a staph infection.
Ford is the team's leading rusher but the duties could fall to Donovonn Young as long as he has recovered from a lingering ankle injury.
