Former Oklahoma tight end Austin Haywood wasn't able to make his way back on the team after quitting earlier in the year, but OU will add Brandon Green out of Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College.
The Sooners aren't returning any tight ends from this season, so getting the commitment from Green, who will be on scholarship, is a step in the right direction. They also have another verbal commitment from a tight end from Tallahassee, Fla.
