There are reports that quarterback Tom Savage is considering a transfer back to Rutgers. He initially left the Scarlet Knights to head to Arizona, but now is apparently considering a return.
Normally a two-time transfer has to sit out twice, however Savage may be moving back due to family issues, which could lead to a hardship waiver. Thus the 2011 season lost when he headed to Tuscon would be the only season he'd miss.
