Apparently, the 67 points Baylor dropped on Washington a few days ago was the last straw. Huskies head coach Steve Sarkisian canned defensive coordinator Nick Holt, linebackers coach Mike Cox and safeties/secondary coach Jeff Mills after a season of struggles on the defensive end.
Holt had been rumored to be on the hot seat as the Huskies struggled to keep teams out of the end zone. Unfortunately, Baylor made Washington's defense look incredibly inept in the bowl game loss, which may have forced Sarkisian to make this move.
