Temple running back Bernard Pierce will leave school and enter the NFL draft, according to school spokesman Cathy Bongiovi.
Not surprising, given Pierce's statistical success. Matt Brown will slide in to Pierce's featured role, and should make for a solid early round pick in 2012. How his 5-foot-5, 170 pound frame holds up over 12 games would make me pause before taking Brown as my number one back however.
