Tony Gregory has ACL surgery, again

Virginia Tech running back Tony Gregory had reconstructive surgery on his left knee for the second consecutive year, and he will miss spring practice.

It's pretty impressive that Gregory played the last four games of the season with a torn ACL, but this is catostrophic news for his 2012 prospects. At this point, it would be an absolute shock if redshirt freshman Michael Holmes didn't enter August atop the Hokies' backfield depth chart.
