Washington freshman tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins has announced he will play basketball for the Huskies this season. Seferian-Jenkins, at 6-foot-6 and about 260 pounds, is a big body who enjoyed plenty of success on the court as a high schooler.

Obviously, the risk of injury to a player that seems to have all-American written all over him for the future is a big concern, but Washington coach Steve Sarkisian had promised Seferian-Jenkins he'd give him the opportunity to play hoops if he wanted. Sark, it appears, is a man of his word.
