USC wide receiver George Farmer is going back outside, where he feels he belongs. The Trojan coaching staff worked Farmer, a five-star recruit, at running back midway through the 2011 season, prompting speculation about his offensive future. With Brice Butler and Kyle Prater deciding to leave USC, Farmer will move to receiver permanently.

Farmer has tremendous speed and while his playing time behind Robert Woods and Marqise Lee may be iffy, rumors are that the Trojans will try to get Farmer into a De'Anthony Thomas-like role in 2012. His overall talent dictates that the Trojans find touches for him next season.
