Auburn quarterback Barrett Trotter has decided to not spend his senior year with the Tigers but it is not clear whether he plans to prepare for the NFL Draft or transfer. If Trotter were to transfer, he would be eligible to play right away since he has already graduated.
I would expect to see Trotter use his final year of eligibility as his future at the next level is pretty bleak. There are quite a few teams that would love to have his services if only for one season.
