The exodus from the Iowa Hawkeyes continues with backup quarterback A.J Derby deciding to transfer. Reports say that head coach Kirk Ferentz had started to practice Derby at linebacker.
Derby seems to want to stay at his original position and with James Vandenberg around for another year, Derby wasn't going to see many snaps anytime soon.
