USC star receiver Robert Woods should be good-to-go for spring practice. Woods had arthroscopic surgery on an ankle injury that bothered him all season. He was absent earlier this week when the Trojans started "voluntary" winter workouts, but word is he'll be ready for spring practice.
Woods said he expects to be 100 percent healthy by the time spring practice rolls around after the December operation. Woods is coming off a 111-catch season and should team with fellow standout Marqise Lee and the returning quarterback Matt Barkley to form one of the nation's best passing games.
