The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have officially hired Rutgers coach Greg Schiano as their next head coach.  "We are thrilled to introduce Coach Schiano as the new head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers," Bucs co-chairman Joel Glazer said in a released statement. "During our thorough search, we met with numerous impressive candidates, but Coach Schiano surely distinguished himself. From his leadership skills to his impressive track record, he is, simply put, the right man for the job."

Interesting timing with National Signing Day less than a week away (Feb.1). The Scarlet Knights have been assembling a solid class -- arguably the best in the Big East. It will be interesting to see if they can hold on to their recruits over the next week.
