Texas Tech quarterback Scotty Young will transfer according to head coach Tommy Tuberville, leaving the team with two quarterbacks in the spring.
Those two quarterbacks are returning starter Seth Doege and redshirt freshman Michael Brewer, but they will have an incoming freshman - Clayton Nicholas - join the team in the summer.
