Former Penn State quarterback Kevin Newsome has decided on Temple as his new destination. He'll practice this spring, and be eligible for the 2012 season.
Newsome will compete with incumbent Chris Coyer for the starting gig. Coyer showed tremendous running ability late in 2011, but it wasn't long ago that Newsome was a four star recruit whom many pegged for big things in Happy Valley. If you are a big fish, small pond subscriber, keep very close tabs on Newsome over the next seven months.
