Texas Tech running backs Eric Stephens (knee) and DeAndre Washington (knee) and receiver Alex Torress (knee) are on track to return this summer, but a redshirt for Stephens is not out of the question. “Right now, they’re all on track (to return this summer), doing very good, but there’s nothing 100 percent guaranteed,” head trainer Arnold Gambler said last week.
Stephens has had the most time of the three to recover, but his injury was the most severe as it also involved a dislocation. Obviously none of these guys are expected to participate in spring drills.
