As Northwestern opens up spring practice, they will do so without two key offensive players as running back Mike Trumpy is recovering from a torn ACL and tight end Evan Watkins is dealing with an injured hip.
The running back position will likely not play a big part again for the Wildcats, especially with the athleticism of quarterback Kain Colter. But look for Watkins to be a nice target this season.
