With quarterback Zach Mettenberger likely the starter for LSU, the Tigers expect to have a more potent aerial attack this season.  Quarterbacks coach Steve Kragthorpe says Mettenberger "...has a skill set that we can use to put the ball in the air more."

Mettenberger reminds this writer of Ryan Mallett so arm strength is of no concern.  Mettenberger has been working with his receivers and tight ends a lot lately so expect a much more balanced attack from the Tigers this season.
