While all eyes will be on Stanford's quarterback battle, the team's wide receiver spot is another area that needs attention. With Ty Montgomery possibly missing all of spring practice -- the battle for playing time will come down between Drew Terrell, Jamal Patterson, Jemari Roberts and Jordan Pratt.
So, while the quarterback competition is the more exciting, there is plenty to be sorted out at wide receiver. Expect the Cardinal to be cautious with Montgomery even if he does get clearance to participate and really test this group of remaining receivers. The Cardinal need some other guys to step forward.
