While Cal coach Jeff Tedford didn't exactly say he's going to give the keys to incoming freshman quarterback Zach Kline, he also had some very good things to say about the young chap, making it seem like Zach Maynard and Allan Bridgford will have their hands full in this battle for the starting job.
It's hard to see Tedford, who is overdue for a big season, benching Maynard in favor of the youngster. However it's also clear that this will be a battle to see who gets to wing footballs to Keenan Allen.
