Linebacker Dwayne Beckford and receiver O.J. Ross will not participate in spring practice for the Boilermakers and their future with the team is still up in the air after being suspended for the bowl game against Western Michigan.
Ross was a highly touted recruit but really has not done much so his loss would be nominal. But Beckford is an athletic linebacker who would be hard to replace.
