Under new head coach Jim Mora, quite a few UCLA players have been moved to new positions. Most notably quarterback Darius Bell has moved to 'Y' receiver as well as tight end Joe Fauria. Miscast Damien Thigpen has been moved from F-back to wide receiver while Anthony Barr switched from F-back to linebacker.
Bell is too athletic not to get on the field in some capacity so his was a smart move. Fauria operating out of the slot wreaks of fantasy gold. The defunct F-back position finally finds Barr using his size to the team's advantage and the speed of Thigpen utilized as well.
