After two weeks of spring practice, it looks like former Oregon Stater Ryan Katz is taking hold of the San Diego State quarterback job. Coach Andy Ludwig said that Katz's play has earned him the most first-team snaps thus far.
Katz offers an interesting blend of running and passing and was the golden boy at OSU before things went quickly south to start the 2011 season. Adam Dingwell is not out of the running, but it appears Katz is the frontrunner to replace Ryan Lindley.
