Ryan Katz continues to get the bigger share of quarterback reps for the San Diego State offense, but offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig said Adam Dingwell is still every bit in the running for the job. “Katz is getting the most work with the ones, but Ding is getting a significant amount of work,” Ludwig said.
The Aztecs staff is hoping to name a starter sooner, rather than later, but for now things will have to be unofficial. Katz would appear to be the No. 1 at this point, with Dingwell getting some first-team reps and continuing to press.
