California running back Brendan Bigelow is one of three younger backs the Cal staff wants to see develop. Bigelow, Daniel Lasco and Darren Evans are looking to find carries behind starter Isi Sofele and C.J. Anderson, but more importantly, are looking down the road two years when one of them needs to emerge.

Bigelow, who came back from a torn ACL in high school to eventually return kicks for Cal in 2011, said he feels better than he ever has. While Sofele and Anderson will carry the load in 2012, it should be interesting to see which of this younger threesome starts to emerge this spring and fall.
