One of the surprise players of Boise State's spring practices has been wide receiver-tight end Holden Huff, a redshirt freshman. He's grown from a skinny 199-pounder out of high school to about 220 pounds and he's been making plays this spring.
The Broncos should be formidable at tight end with Gabe Linehan and others stepping into increased roles. Huff could see a combo TE-WR role emerge because he's not without some speed after being a wide receiver in high school.
