Fresno State running back Robbie Rouse won't play in Sunday's spring game for the Bulldogs. His absence isn't injury-related, more of a precautionary move for new coach Tim DeRuyter and the offense.
Rouse is very near the career rushing mark for Fresno State and has proven to be a very productive back. Holding him out of Sunday's spring game is a wise move to keep him healthy for the long run.
