Running back Daniel Jenkins had the majority of snaps with the first team offense in Arizona's Saturday scrimmage, including several plays where he broke tackles and scored a touchdown. Still, he wasn't alone, as fellow backs Ka'Deem Carey and Kylan Butler each scored a touchdown and produced their own big plays.
After finishing 114th nationally in rushing last season, Rodriguez is expecting a big improvement in the run game for 2012. All three will play this fall and it could evolve into a "who has the hot hand" decision each game for which running back gets the majority of the carries. Jenkins and Carey seem the most likely to share touches, but the smallish Butler is very quick and capable of big plays.
