Beavers hope Agnew is the RB answer

Oregon State running back Malcolm Agnew teased us all with a 200-yard opener for the Beavers. Then, the hamstring issues arose, as did OSU's inability to run the ball consistently. With the start of spring practice on April 3, all eyes will on Agnew to see if he can be "the guy" Beaver Nation thinks he can.

Agnew's hammies are going to be the long-term question. If he's on the path of perpetual injury, look for Jovan Stevenson, Jordan Jenkins, Terron Ward and Storm Woods, a redshirt freshman from Texas, to get plenty of looks. The Beavers need a quality, productive running back to make this offense work. If it's not Agnew, then who? Welcome to spring practice.
