This spring former Boston College wide receiver Shakim Phillips has been turning quite a few heads and is expected to be a major pass-catching threat for UConn.
Even though the Huskies are unsettled at quarterback and Phillips would need to compete with Isiah Moore and Bryce McNeal for receptions, he could wind up being a surprise much like Marcus Easley was in 2009.
