Falcons Cobb likely at halfback permanently

Air Force running back Wesley Cobb made the move from fullback to halfback fairly effortlessly this spring and coach Troy Calhoun said the move is likely to be permanent. Cobb rushed for more than 400 yards while splitting time with Mike DeWitt in 2011, but Calhoun likes the way Cobb runs "downhill," is tough and doesn't fumble.

With Asher Clark gone at last, the Falcons need to find a go-to halfback. Cobb could be the guy who picks up that slack this fall.
