In the Longhorns' spring game, fans got a glimpse of three likely starters based not on gaudy stats but rather the fact that they barely played. Quarterback David Ash, running back Malcolm Brown, and wide receiver Mike Davis got few reps which suggests they are the top options at their positions.
Ash has been stellar all spring but is still being pushed by Case McCoy. Even if Brown is the starting tailback, Joe Bergeron is sure to see plenty of carries. At receiver, Davis will be the top target followed closely by Jaxon Shipley.
