For what is a deep stable of backs at Boston College, the annual spring game had its ups and downs. Montel Harris and Andre Williams did not participate as they try to get healthy. Tahj Kimble started the game but soon left with an ankle injury. Stepping in for Kimble, Rolandan Finch ran roughshod to the tune of 196 yards on 27 carries.
Finch was the team's leading rusher last season and should be in line for some carries, although his real value will come next season after Harris has moved on.
