One of UCLA's "under the microscope" guys this spring is running back Johnathan Franklin. The senior just missed 1,000 yards in 2011, a season many had predicted before the season would be his last. Once again, though injuries and inconsistency nipped at his heels and he's back for one more run with the Bruins.
If there was a time for Franklin to really break out, 2012 is it. He's a senior looking at the NFL and the Bruins could use a full, healthy season and about 1,300 yards and double digit touchdowns from him. Despite his numbers a year ago, he's still go something to prove.
