Texas A&M began spring drills on March 31 and the early word regarding the quarterback battle is it's going to be a while before it's sorted out. "Look for the QB battle to stay open headed into the summer, with the four underclassmen – sophomore Jameill Showers and Matt Joeckel and freshmen Johnny Manziel and Matt Davis - competing to replace Ryan Tannehill," writes Brent Zwerneman of the Houston Chronicle.
This one is tough to handicap. There are plenty of varying opinions on who's the right man for the job. Hopefully we'll start to see signs of a leader after the Aggies scrimmages on the 14th, 20th and 27th. With Kevin Sumlin and Kliff Kingsbury in town, look for that quarterback to rise in our early rankings.
